My Approach to Therapy
I provide trauma informed care which means I view trauma through the lens of how our environment, culture, and systemic oppression play a significant role in how we understand and heal from trauma.
I strive to guide the healing of ancestral wounds which means we will work collaboratively to find ways to give ourselves permission to rest as a means to heal, while we work to undo the oppressive roots that contribute to a disconnect from our authenticity. I highlight adaptation over symptoms, and emphasize resiliency over pathology.
Adults I Hold Space For:
The folx who struggle to trust, lean into their identity, or welcome love.
The ones who want to slow down and are unsure of how to do so.
The parents/caregivers who feel “inadequate” or feel they are “not doing enough”.
The folx questioning themselves and the ones working on undoing the effects of bi-erasure.
The folx beginning their journey to undo “I don’t belong”.
The folx healing soul wounds to break the cycles, and learn to tend to and choose themselves.
The new parent/caregiver who is struggling to adjust to parenthood.
The folx who are grieving their younger parts efforts to mask and camouflage in order to make it in a neurotypical world.
Adult Individual Therapy—Virtual Only
I work with neurodivergent, BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ adults, especially folx who identify as first or second generation, who are motivated to unlearn and break generational cycles of trauma.
I aim to include and create a space where you feel welcomed, respected, and seen as you are. Healing, growth, and leaning into your identities is highlighted.
We will work through the wounds that continue to impact your present. My role in this process is to guide you on your growth towards your goals of healing.
Fees
My standard fee for a 50 minute session is $185.00.
Session dates and time depend on the clinician availability.
If I cannot accommodate your financial situation, I will provide you referrals.
Please note, I do not take insurance. I am considered an Out-of-Network provider and can provide a superbill for possible reimbursement by your insurance provider. Please contact your insurance provider to see if this option is available to you.
